Warranty Coverage for Riccar R65

Vacuum (main unit): 2-year limited warranty.

Battery: 1-year warranty.

Warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship when the vacuum is used under normal household conditions and maintained according to the owner’s manual.
What’s Covered (Under Warranty)
If the vacuum is defective within the warranty period, Riccar will — at their discretion — repair or replace defective non-wearable parts free of charge (parts + labor) via an authorized service center.
If replaced, the new unit continues with warranty coverage based on the original purchase date.
Shipping for warranty repair/replacement (ground freight) is prepaid by Riccar (if eligibility requirements are met).
What’s Not Covered

Wearable parts — e.g. filters, brushes, belts, dust bags, rollers, brush strips — are not covered by warranty. These need regular replacement or maintenance.

Damage due to improper use, neglect, misuse (like vacuuming liquids), unauthorized repairs, or use outside normal household conditions is excluded.

Using non-genuine Riccar parts (bags, belts, filters, etc.) or tampering with serial numbers voids warranty.

Normal maintenance (emptying dust bin, filter changes, brush cleaning) and “wear & tear” — these are the owner’s responsibility.
What You Should Do to Ensure Warranty Validity

Register your vacuum after purchase on Riccar’s website (or via the paperwork included) — registration links are provided by Riccar.

Use only genuine Riccar replacement parts (filters, bags, belts, etc.) to avoid voiding warranty.

Follow regular maintenance and use the vacuum only under conditions outlined in the owner’s manual.
