How to wind the bobbin and insert the bobbin case:

Wind the bobbin evenly by hand, with the Husqvarna Viking® logo facing up, and in a clockwise direction.

Remove the stitch plate and replace the standard bobbin case with the Specialty Bobbin Case. Snap the stitch plate back into place.

Place the bobbin into the  Specialty Bobbin Case with the Husqvarna Viking® logo facing up. The thread should not go into the tension of the Husqvarna Viking®Bobbin Case but should go directly into the bypass slot instead. This is done by holding on to the top thread and turning the hand wheel one full turn toward you. The lower thread will be drawn into the bypass slot and a loop will appear under the presser foot. Pull the top thread to completely draw up the bottom thread and then replace the bobbin cover.
