Purpose: To insert and sew piping (narrow decorative cord or braid encased in fabric) cleanly into seams or edges, particularly for fine or lightweight materials.

Fitment note: Because this is the “Small” version (L16S) it is not ideal for larger or heavier piping (for heavier work you’ll want L16L or other piping variants).
The Piping Foot #L16S suits best to create and sew in piping. The foot is used for light weight fabrics and for piping up to maximum of 3 mm.
