Best Practices (To Get Great Results)
For Smooth Feeding
-
Start with a slower speed and increase once the tape and fabric feed smoothly.
-
Hold the bias tape lightly so it stays flat as it enters the binder.
For Corners and Curves
-
For curves, sew slowly and guide the fabric gradually—don’t pull.
-
For corners, stop with the needle down, pivot carefully, and continue (practice on scraps first).
Test First
-
Always test with your tape + fabric combo before binding the final project.
-
Adjust stitch length and needle position if needed for best coverage.
