The XE4896001 Babylock Plate Switch is a needle plate “B” switch assembly (also called a plate sensor switch) used in select Baby Lock and Brother sewing machines. It detects the presence or correct positioning of the needle plate, enabling the machine to operate safely and accurately by signaling the control system when the needle plate is properly installed. It is a direct-fit OEM or OEM-equivalent replacement part.
