With the Yarn Couching Feet Set you can easily create decorative yarn embellishment both when sewing free-motion and embroidering.
Two different feet will suit a variety of yarn. A detailed instruction is included with the product.

Free-motion sewing with couching
1. Prepare the machine for couching as described above.
2. Set the machine for Free motion sewing.
3. Hold the yarn end while beginning to sew. Guide the fabric lightly and make the turns gentle. Adjust the sewing speed to how fast you are moving the fabric.
4. When the free-motion embroidery is completed you can either cut the yarn ends, or thread them on a darning needle and pull them to the back of the fabric.
Yarn couching embroidery
1. Prepare the machine for couching as described above.
2. Prepare the machine for embroidery.
3. Choose a Husqvarna Viking Yarn Couching embroidery design.
4. Set the machine to a low speed.
5. Hold the yarn end and start embroidering.
6. When the embroidery is completed you can either cut the yarn ends, or thread them on a darning needle and pull them to the back of the fabric.
