-
Measures 12" wide by 8 yards long.
-
Heavy weight — approximately “triple the weight” of standard AquaFilm backing, offering extra stiffness for 3-D or standalone designs.
-
Suitable for use on sheer, lightweight, or fine fabrics where underlying support must vanish completely.
-
Not sensitive to air humidity (improved user handling).
-
alone or in combination with other stabilizers (e.g., used together with AquaMesh for high-stitch-count designs) to add stability and control.
Primary Uses / Applications
-
Creating freestanding lace (FSL) or embroidered lace motifs that will have no visible stabilizer remnants.
-
Embroidering patches or badges where the end result should be purely thread, or the stabilizer should disappear.
-
Engraving/embroidering on sheer or delicate fabrics (e.g., organza, voile) where regular stabilizers would show or compromise appearance.
-
3-D embroidery pieces where a bit of residual stiffness is desired (rinse briefly so some stabilizer remains).

Compatibility & Specification Notes
-
Roll width: 12 inches.
-
Length: 8 yards.
-
Suitable for embroidery machines supporting dense satin-stitched designs and freestanding lace workflows.
-
Supports use on fabric types where minimal or zero stabilizer appearance is required.
-
Note: Because it’s a heavy film, some trimming of excess and careful rinsing is recommended for optimal results.
Technical / Usage Tips
-
Hoop the stabilizer (and fabric if needed) as you would any other stabilizer. For standalone lace: Example instructions from OESD: cut BadgeMaster and AquaMesh approx. 2” larger than hoop, stack them, hoop layers together, stitch, then trim and rinse.
-
After stitching: remove excess stabilizer leaving ~¼″ around the design, then rinse in warm running water. For stiff effect leave some stabilizer; for softer effect extend rinse time.
-
Provide guidance for use on thin/transparent fabrics: because BadgeMaster is heavy, it may add some stiffness — test on scrap if fabric is ultra-delicate.
-
Encourage customers to dry flat and press lightly if needed, taking care to avoid distortion or shrinking of washed-out areas
