 What It Is

• SEB 236.

• The “limit switch” is the internal electrical/mechanical switch that governs power or motor activation for the nozzle. When the power-nozzle is attached and in correct position, the switch completes the circuit so the brush roller can spin.

 Purpose & Function

• Ensures that the powerhead’s motor/bristle roller only engages when the nozzle is properly connected and positioned. This protects the motor and ensures safety.

• not turn on — even if the vacuum is running — because the circuit remains open. Replacing the limit switch restores brush/motor activation.

When & Why You’d Replace It

• Replace it if the SEB 236 power-nozzle fails to power on (brush motor doesn’t spin), even though suction and the vacuum body operate normally.

• Also necessary if the switch feels loose, is intermittent, or has been damaged through wear or impact.
