Serger Mini Quilt- In Store
Put your serger to the test as you create this cute mini-quilt. Some of the techniques to be be covered are:
• Ladder Stitch Flatlock
• Wave stitch
• Flat Lock Wave
• Gathering
• Attaching Ribbon
• Seaming – 4thread overlock and chain stitch
• Cover stitch wide and narrow & Chain – decorative
• Piping/Cording-Creation and Insertion
• Attaching binding
Not only will you learn several techniques, you will learn how to use the following feet:
• Lace Applicator Foot
• Cording Foot
• Cover and Chain Foot
• Open Toe Foot
• Curve Foot
This class uses both the overlock and cover stitch. There is room at the store for 4 students. Nashua Sew and Vac can provide a cover stitch capable machine for your use in store.
This will be a hybrid class. I will teach a live class via Zoom from the store.

Heart Block fabric- In the Photo= Background fabric is white, heart fabric is red print
2-5” squares for ½ square triangle 1print & 1 background
2- 2.5” x 4.5” rectangle print

1-2.5” X 8.5” rectangle of print
2- 2.5” X 9”strips background
2- 2.5” X 13” strips background
24” X WOF Backing Fabric - cut based on pieced top size
12” piece of ribbon
4 spools all-purpose serger thread
12 wt. decorative thread to match
Fusible batting for block backing.
