Create with PFAFF: Combining Tapering and Single Stitch Programs with Shaping in Embroidery
- Now that you own a PFAFF Creative Icon, your creativity is boundless. Debby will help you create a beautiful stitch combination using two of the Sewing Program functions, Tapering and Single Stitch Program. Once we have created the combination, we will add an embroidery element for Endless Embroidery either using the Shaping function. Choose which item that you will embroider. The design can be embroidered on a shirt like the sample, a pillowcase band, a table runner, or a fabric length to learn the techniques. This is a wonderful class to get to know how to navigate the Creative Icon Screen.
SUPPLIES
:PFAFF Creative ICON in good working order.
:Embroidery Unit
:80 Microtex or embroidery, and wing needles
:360x200 or 360x260 hoop
:60 wt Bobbin thread
:40 wt embroidery thread or 50 wt Aurifil ( Design can be stitched in monochrome or maximum 7 colors; leaves, petals, flower centers, satin stitch x 2 , checkerboard, entredeux stitch)
:Tear away stabilizer sufficient to hoop at least twice.
:General sewing supplies, including scissors, mechanical pencil, chalk marker, straight pins, temporary spray adhesive, 6x24 or similar gridded ruler.
:Article for embellishment; fabric for technique only 8 x 24 inches.
: CLASS PREPARATION – Prewash any item with the exception of fabric for technique only. Spray starch or Best Press to firm consistency including fabric only for technique. - See Class Policy in Terms and Conditions!
