Bag of the Month :Yarrow Wristlet
This month's Bag of the Month is the Yarrow Wristlet by Noodlehead. There is a pouch option but I suggest we make the wristlet for class. It has an interior zippered pocket and card slots
It makes a really great present!
I made the optional leather front pocket with rivets but the main instructions show a fabric pocket you can make either in class.
Please cut all your fabric pieces prior to class. If you need help with leather you can hols off on that.
Supply List:
Pattern, (included with class).
Zippers by the yard available at Nashua sew and Vac. #5 size
I used the zippers by the yard, pattern suggests a Handbag zipper you will need (1) 12"
Small zipper for interior pocket pattern says 4" I had a 7" on hand and cut it down.
Exterior fabric (Blue leaf on my bag) 1/4 yard
Lining for lining and interior pockets. 1/3 yard for tote or 3/4 yard for project size
Fusible woven interfacing Pellon SF 101 20" wide 1/2 yard
Medium weight Fusible interfacing 1/4 Yard
Hardware 1/2" wide D-ring 1/2" wide swivel snap (swivel hook)
Helpful notions
Sewing clips, pins, chalk, basting tape or glue, stiletto. Size 14 or 16 Denim or Microtex needle
Please bring your sewing machine's Zipper foot.
Optional scrap of leather at least 18" long for strap and pocket. I'll have rivets on hand if you want to use them.
