IQ Designer Embroidered Notebook Class - In Store

Create this composition book cover for your favorite student or as a cover for sewing inspiration notebook. If you have a Solaris or Solaris 2, you can make the cover composition notebook size.  If you have a Destiny, Meridian or Altair, the cover will fit a 8” x 5.5” notebook.  The whole cover is made with one hooping.  Add in the part created using IQ Designer and you have a unique cover.  The project is designed to use cork, marine vinyl and/or cotton. 

 Supplies

Embroidery Machine with IQ Designer

10 5/8” x 16” hoop or  9 ½” x 14” hoop

½ yd Fabric A- outside focus fabric – black in sample

½ yd Fabric B – Outside accent fabric and lining – “floral” fabric

1/3 yd batting or lightweight fleece

No Show mesh stabilizer

Embroidery threads to match/complement fabric

Cut and label fabrics as directed below

        Cut 1 – 12” x 7” center front

        Cut 1 – 12” x 9” back

   Outside Accent Fabric B

       Cut 2 – 12 x 2 1/2” Front Accent

       Cut 3 – 12” x 12” pockets and lining

       Cut 1 – 12” x 17” batting or lightweight fleece

For 9 ½” x 14” hoop
