Simply Serging - elegant Shawl
Learn some basic serger skills as you create a cozy, elegant shawl. Master sewing around curves and turning corners on your serger. This class is designed for novice serger students. This is a great class to try out a serger. Just let us know and we will have a serger for you to use.
Supplies:
Fabric: 1 – 2 yards of fabric: the longer the fabric, the longer the shawl
Pick a drapey fabric, knit, wool challis, polarfleece, or a sweater knit as an idea
2 threads of a fairly thick decorative thread: Wooly Nylon or Lana work well
1 Serger thread to match the decorative thread
Serger in good working condition
Foot pedal and powercord
