Serged Sewing Caddy
Use your serger to create this handy caddy for packing sewing supplies for class. It would also make a great first aid kit for the car. Techniques to be covered are: covered elastic, zipper insertion and chain stitch quilting. There will be an embroidery machine if you want to personalize your caddy. This would make a great gift for a sewing buddy.

One fat quarter
9" x 13" foam batting
1 1/4 yd zipper tape and 1 slide
matching or decorative thread
suggestions: sulky 30 and 12 wgt cotton
Aurafil Lana
3 spools basic, coordinating serger thread
ruler
1 yd of 1/4" elastic
Frixion pen
Cut-a-round or tool to round corners
Rotary cutter
