Upside Down Applique



In this technique class, students will learn another method for machine applique to add to their skills.  Linda Banner is an excellent teacher of quilting techniques.  She will step you through the steps and make this technique so easy to follow.


Requirements: Supply List Zig Zag sewing machine in good working order. Presser foot lifter if you have one. Cord and foot control, paper and fabric scissor, Karen Kay Buckley red handle scissor are great, needle size 70, threads to match fabric colors, (Aurifil is a good choice or rayon embroidery thread, bobbins prefilled with white Aurifil or a 60wt embroidery thread), Fabric: Background 12in x 12in stiffly starched, 3 shades of 1 color (light, medium, dark) for flower 4in x 4in 2 colors of green, leaves and stem 10in x 5in center of flower 3in x 3in General sewing supplies: scissor, thread snips, seam ripper, rotary cutter, mat, ruler, fabric marking tool, needles, thread, seam guide
