Beginner Quilting with Barbara

Class 1 we will explore perfecting our 1/4 with a rail fence block.

You can make a whole quilt or make a six block placemat.

I am using brights like the picture, but you can choose your own fabrics.

For the placemat...I am using Fat quarters of 3 coordinating solids of 3 different shades of fabric... 3 shades of orange, yellow...3 shades of blue and 3 shades of green. there will be enough to cut for several placemats.

We would also like a backing and binding...depending on your end product could depend on how much fabric you will need. We will show Quilting and binding your placemat.

includes pattern and instruction for the whole quilt and also just the placemat
