Charity Serging Event for Ryan's Case for Smiles

Join us for a fun day sewing pillow cases for Ryan's Case for Smiles. https://caseforsmiles.org Help to bring a smile to a child undergoing cancer treatment. Ryan's Case for Smiles not only provides fun pillowcases to brighten a child's day, it is there to support the whole family as they go through this difficult time.

For this charity event, you will be constructing pillowcases on the serger. Never used a serger before, now is your chance. Nashua Sew and Vac will provide sergers, thread, pillowcase fabric kits and serging support. Join us for an hour or the day, whatever works for your schedule. Although there is no charge for this event, please sign up at Nashua Sew and Vac, www.nashuasewandvac.com,so we have an idea of how many people are attending and can plan accordingly.

There is no charge for this charity event and we will provide a light lunch for participants.

If you would like to bust some of your stash- each pillowcase uses:

3/4 yd fabric

1/4 yd fabric for the band

Optional: 2" x width of fabric for accent strip
