Casserole Caddy

Create a stylish casserole caddy that you'll be proud to take to any potluck or give as a gift. This is a great use for your stash or you can use pre-cut fabrics.

To make your caddy, you will cut your fabric, sew onto the pre-printed batting, insert insulated batting, add a backing and binding. You can even add additional quilting to personalize your caddy further.

Finished caddy wraps around a standard 9" x 13" pan.

This is a one session class which will be held from 10:30-3:30 – feel free to bring a lunch or snack with you!
This class will require some cutting homework.  Linda Jancsy will contact you two weeks before the class and provide homework details.

On the day of the class, you will need to purchase a kit which contains the pre-printed batting and insulated batting for $27.00.      

Supplies:

-          Class Kit

-          Sewing machine in good working order

-          ¼” quilting/piecing foot

-          Open Toe Foot

-          Walking Foot if your machine does not have IDT

-          Wooden quick press seam roller *

-          Cotton Thread – Aurifil Thread *

-          1 1/2 yards of Sew on 3/4" Velcro - color of your choice

*Will be available to purchase at Nashua Sew and Vac on day of class

Fabric Requirements For One Caddy:

•          1/4 yd each of 6 fabrics
•          2/3 yds for strapping and binding
•          1 yd (42" or wider) for backing

OR

•          (17) Pre-cut 5" squares
•          (6 ) Pre-cut 2 1/2" strips
•          2/3 yds for strapping and binding
•          1 yd (42" or wider) for backing

-          Sewing Notions (scissors, pins, etc.)
-          Wonder Clips (mini clips)

-          Rotary Cutter

-          Small cutting mat, if you have one

-          Extension Table, if you have one
