Bewitching Serger
Learn how to do Serger Crochet and Beading by Serger as you create this cute witch’s hat. Using decorative threads in the loopers, you will “crochet” around the edge of the witch hat. Then create a garland using Halloween themed beads and/or charms. This is a class designed for all sergers. Some familiarity and comfort level with your serger is required ie. Advanced Beginner.
Supplies:
17” x 27” fabric for the hat- Interface with fusible woven or non-woven interfacing.
You will cut the witch hat out in class.

3 – regular serger threads to match fabric
2- decorative threads of matching weight for garland
Charms or beads to add to garland- see photo for ideas
Suggested feet: Chain/Cover foot
Clear foot
I will provide the fishline needed for the garland. I will also bring the pattern to cut out your fabric and to use for the internal support of the witch’s hat.
