Learn the Quilt As You Go Technique
Learn the Quilt As You Go Technique
Join us in class and learn the Quilt As You Go (QAYG) method. You will learn how to piece fabric on to small, manageable batting blocks one at a time. Then you will quilt directly on the blocks (not the whole quilt!), whether in large abstract zigzags or small structured stitches.
The class fee includes a copy of the book Quilt As You Go Made Modern, by Jera Brandvig and a high quality sturdy wood quick press seam roller.
We will be making a variety of 9” block samples from the book. The book contains detailed information on the technique as well as 13 projects using different QAYG approaches which can be used for bed-sized quilts, bed runners, table toppers, and more.
This is a one session class which will be held from 10:30-3:30 – feel free to bring a lunch or snack with you!
