Santa's Workshop - Self-Binding Cloth Napkins with Mitered Corners

Santa’s Workshop is excited to offer this class for anyone who has some machine stitching experience. Fat quarters are perfect for this project. The napkins are made from two layers using a self-binding technique that creates a contrast trim around the front of the napkin. Fat quarters are perfect for this project – use coordinating prints or contrasting colors to create beautiful combinations.
The class will run from 10:00 – 2:00.
Finished napkin size: approximately 17”.
Supplies:
- Sewing machine in good working order
(your own sewing machine is preferred - we can help you carry it in and out)
- ¼” foot
- Fabric Requirements for 4 napkins
- Back of napkin - (4) pieces of fabric measuring 18”
- Front of napkin – (4) pieces of fabric measuring 14”
- Coordinating thread
- Sewing pins
- Scissors
- Basic sewing notions
- Point Turner (highly recommend - great to have)
