Santa's Workshop Holiday Table Topper (Slice of Pie)
This table mat centerpiece is a fun project. You will learn the basics of patchwork sewing and some basic quilting techniques.
You can cut your own strips for the triangles, or use jelly roll strips. After making the triangles, we will layer, quilt, and bind the topper.
This class is for anyone who has some machine stitching experience and working knowledge of their machine.
This class runs from 10:00 - 3:00. Please feel free to bring a snack or your lunch.
Supplies:
- Your own sewing machine in good working order (we can help you carry it in and out)
- Fabric (cotton)
- For the Triangles – (4) 2 ½” (by width of fabric) strips
- Backing – 30” x 30” square
- Binding - (3) 2 ¼” (by width of fabric) strips
- 30" x 30" square of low loft cotton quilt batting
- Cotton thread – 50 wt.
- Basic sewing notions

- Optional, but so helpful: 60 - degree triangle ruler to cut the triangles
