Revolutionary Table Topper

Create this beautiful table runner entirely on your serger. You will use a flatlock stitch to do some of the piecing. Build the drama by using a chain stitch to accent the center circles. If you have a serger with a wave stitch, learn how to set your machine up for a flatlock wave stitch- this one is not in your manual because it is new. Use the Silhouette Cameo cutter to cut out perfect circles for your table runner.  This class is designed for Babylock Evolutions, Ovation and Triumph sergers.  You are welcome to use a store machine to give it a test drive.

See cutting directions below to determine Fabric A, B and C.  Please have all blocks cut and labeled before class.

1 1/4 yards Fabric A for background
1/2 yard Fabric B
1/2 yard Fabric C
Scraps  of coordinating colors for circles
1/4 yard Heat n Bond Lite
1/2 yard fusible fleece
3 spools 12 wt Sulky Cotton to coordinate with fabric
1 spool sewing thread to blend with background fabric
4 cones serger thread to blend with fabric

Cutting Instructions:  Pleae have blocks cut out and CLEARLY LABELED  before class.  It is helpful to have a seperate envelope for each block.  When we are working on that block, those are the only pieces you will have out.  Much less chance of mixing things up that way.  Ask me how I know.
 On the Circle block, you don't have to cut circles- this can be very creative. For the fabric scraps, fuse with Heat N Bond Lite or some type of fusible adhesive before cutting.
