Build a Capsule Wardrobe
Are you finding a closet full of clothes which no longer fit your lifestyle? We will discuss the why and how to go about planning your positive change. We will make the first piece of your wardrobe, a "Concord Tee". Come with an accurate set of your measurements. This class is for intermediate sewers who are familiar with knit fabrics.
Supplies:
- Concord Tee pattern by Cashmerette Patterns
- *2-2.5yards of knit T-shirt fabric in a neutral color (e.g. white, black, brown, tan)
- Thread to match T-shirt
- Stretch needle for sewing machine
- Sewing machine with the capability to do at least zig-zag stitch, preferable stretch stitches. If you have a serger, you may bring that as well.
- Power cord and Foot control for your machine
- Sewing machine must have a zig zag foot
- *Supplies not available at Nashua Sew and Vac
- General Sewing Supplies: seam ripper, thread snips, scissors, fabric marker, pins, etc.
