Great Looking Tee

Create a great looking Tee completely on the serger with cover hem...Easy to fit fun to wear!  You can finally buy some nice knits at Jo-Ann Fabric...I bought the ponte knit at Jo-Ann's.
Tops are great on its own or under your favorite button up, sweater, or blazer. All four sleeves are interchangeable with each of the necklines resulting in 16 potential different tees in one pattern.

This shirt pattern was designed for stretch knits only with 35% stretch across the grain.  Fabric suggestions are interlock jersey, textured knits, ponte and thermal knits. Pattern includes ¼" (6 mm) seam allowances.
Techniques involved include serging with knits, straight seams and attaching binding.

Pattern size goes up to a 45" bust. 
Difficulty: Beginner

Supplies Required:
2 yards of knit according to the size needed-fabric requirement allows for nap, one-way design or shading.  Extra fabric may be needed to match design or for shrinkage.
Notions:
Thread
Scrap piece of fusible interfacing
Bring Serger in good working order and have it set up for 4 thread overlock
Stay Tape available at NSV

Before Class:

Pick up the pattern at NSV and cut out the top-we will be making the crew neck or boat neck in class
